This is very important and must be emphasised. Doing any form of speed work one MUST rest fully inbetween sprints. or else you simply arent doing speed work and shouldnt expect speed gains.
Good rule to follow is one minute rest per 10m sprinted. You can go even further and rest more, but that is the minimum. Some go as long as 15 mins with mini warm up/cool downs.
